Small Business Saturday, October 25th, 2014, is almost here but you don’t have to wait to participate!
Here’s what we have planned:
From October 6th until October 18th, we’re hosting the #MyFavSmallBiz contest on Twitter. Canadians who show their love for their favourite small business have the chance to win one of two $500 shopping sprees to be awarded daily to spend at their favourite local store! All you have to do to participate is tell us where you love to shop, eat, drop your dry cleaning, get a hot stone massage or otherwise interact with a local business and why in 140 characters or less using the #MyFavSmallBiz hashtag. And don’t forget to follow @ShopSmallBiz for news, announcements and updates.
But that’s not all! After the contest closes, the business that has received the most twitter nominations will be awarded a professionally produced ad campaign to help promote their business just in time for the holidays. Visit here for full details and contest rules.
