Canadian Small Biz of the Week – Violets and Dahlias

Getting to know your local shop owners is one of the many advantages to shopping small biz in Canada. With that in mind, we’d like to utilize the Shop Small Biz blog to help speed up the process just a bit. We’re kicking things off by introducing you to Delia Romano-Virgilio, a small biz owner in Kleinburg, Ontario. If you’d like to meet more of the many faces of  Canada’s small business owners, please check back here often. Now, on with the introductions!

Meet Delia Romano-Virgilio, owner of Violets and Dahlias. It was her passion for flowers and fashion that led Delia (left) to start her business, Violets and Dahlias, 24 years ago.

Delia will tell you that her greatest reward for running her own business is making women happy, and her greatest challenge is that she has yet to find a way to clone herself. I’m sure we can all relate to that!

Violets and Dahlias is an award-winning floral and clothing boutique located in Kleinburg, Ontario. If you are in the area drop by and have a look around. You can also check out Violets and Dahlias’ profile on the Shop Small Biz website.

Marsha Field (right) is Delia’s CFIB representative. If you would like more information about CFIB or being profiled on the Shop Small Biz blog and you’re in the Kleinburg area, please contact CFIB  Marsha Field at Marsha.Field@cfib.ca.
